What should I Expect?

We gather as a Church family every Sunday to sing, receive teaching from the Bible and share communion together. Each of these elements celebrate the good news of Jesus and remind us of his love and grace. We believe it’s important for the whole Church to gather together to be encouraged and equipped to live the life that Jesus has for us.

What should I wear?

You don’t need to be concerned about what you wear and we don't have any expectation that you should dress in a certain way. Our gatherings are full of regular people who wear regular clothes. You’ll receive a warm welcome whatever you choose to wear.

What about Kids?

We love kids and are thankful that our Church family is full of children of all ages groups. We’ve got a dedicated Kids Team that run Cornerstone Kids for ages 1 - 12 and each week they organise fun, age appropriate activities. Our children get dropped off and register at Kids Church in our back building from 10:15am - 10:30am and receive breakfast on arrival.

Creche - 0-2 yrs.  You are welcome to stay in the service with your baby; we don't mind noise. If you feel comfortable you can take your child to creche at any point during the service and leave him or her with one of our capable volunteers.

3-11yrs is a fun group with a mix of play, singing, craft and a Bible story based on a new theme each week.

11yrs+ We encourage children who are of secondary school age to stay and listen to the teaching from the Bible and we often produce work sheets to help them follow along

If you're coming for the first time we’ll be sure to introduce you to our Kids team and they will happily explain what your children will be learning that day. There is no obligation that your children should participate in Kids Church and they are welcome to remain in Church for the whole service if you wish.

There is comfortable space in the foyer were parents can feed their children and still listen to the teaching from the Bible.

What do we sing?

During our gathering we will sing a number of songs as we give thanks for all that Jesus has done for us. You can get a glimpse of some of the songs we sing by checking out our Spotify page by clicking here.

What is communion?

During our gatherings we share communion together. Communion is a way in which we remember and celebrate what Jesus did for us through his death on the cross and his resurrection. We eat bread together as it reminds us of Jesus body which was broken for us. We drink wine together to remind us of Jesus blood which was shed for us.

Will I be expected to do anything?

Our meetings are laid-back, friendly and we are just happy that you would come and join us. You’ll not be expected to do anything and throughout we’ll explain all the different elements of our service and why we do certain things. You can join in with as much as you feel comfortable with.

Coffee will be served before and after our service so come early for a chat or stick around after and get to know us.
